  • Yoga is a safe way to exercise during all stages of pregnancy, learning movements and sequences to bring strength and space to your changing body. As well as movement, Yo Mamas will equip you with breathing techniques, relaxation and discussion time to help you understand your pregnant body. Giving you the tools you need to reduce anxiety and relieve stress so you feel READY, EXCITED and EMPOWERED. Our classes are full of opportunities to make local friends, talk and support one another, sharing like-minded experiences as you navigate your pregnancy together. A network of love and friendships, warm and reassuring vibes, helping you to feel at ease.

  • A regular yoga practice during your pregnancy will increase your awareness of your mind, body and breath and you will become more conscious of your movements. By safely building strength and endurance, you will be better equipped to cope with the demands of your pregnancy, delivery and postpartum, following the birth of your baby.

    Our classes will teach you poses and movements that stimulate your digestive organs, which have less space due to your growing baby. Yoga also helps improve circulation, which reduces swelling and inflammation, especially in your joints. By learning breathing techniques, you will see a reduction in anxiety levels and alleviate fatigue, improved sleep, which in turn leaves you feeling more energized.

  • Yoga for you AND your baby. Allow yourself to reconnect with your body following pregnancy and birth, with our wonderful postnatal exercise course. Moving through gentle vinyasa flows each week, focusing on rebuilding core strength, toning the body and stretching. Yoga is amazing for your pelvic floor and we ensure all exercises are carried out safely following the birth of your baby, whether you had a vaginal or abdominal birth.

    We recommend starting yoga following on from baby massage. Having said that, baby massage is not essential. You can join our postnatal yoga classes from 8 weeks onwards, but around 3 months is a great engaging age for your baby, as well as a safe time for you to exercise again. You can continue for as long as you want to, however once your baby is on the move, yoga does become a little bit trickier as your baby will be hard to catch!

  • Benefits for you. Providing you with time to unwind and relax, using breathing techniques, stretches and exercises to gently rebuild your core strength and improved pelvic floor health. As well as ease any aches and pains from feeding, picking up your baby, carrying car seats and prams around… it’s non-stop right?! 

    Benefits for your baby. Baby yoga is fun and interactive, with songs and movement to support your baby’s development. Learning safe exercises to build strength as they grow.   • The perfect first class for you to attend with your new baby. You will learn gentle massage routines to enjoy with your baby. The classes will be filled with discussion time to provide you with the chance to ask any questions, as well as make friends. We have a self-weighing baby station, so you can weigh your baby, and I can sign post you to additional support if needed. Working as a paediatric nurse with years of experience, I know all about the common baby ailments, so I am primed with great tips and knowledge to share with you.

    The 4th Trimester is an important time in your motherhood journey and a prime time to seek support and friendships. It can be a sensitive and emotional few weeks for many parents and I am really passionate about providing a safe space for open conversation, never any judgment, always inclusive and full of love. Daddy’s or Grandparents are more than welcome too…come along and join the fun.

  • Baby massage can improve your baby’s quality of sleep, reduce wind and ease colic symptoms. You will increase the bond with your little one and the course provides you with further confidence in handling your baby. You will make friends with local mums sharing experiences, knowing you are not alone.

  • Our toddler yoga classes are suitable from approximately 18 months to 3 years and include stretches, movements and sensory play. Providing your toddler with the opportunity for socialisation in groups, as well as teach routine and structure. Weaving basic yoga-inspired poses and movements into songs and stories making it fun and engaging for both toddlers and parents. With a strong emphasis on child development, toddler yoga classes can help to support language, communication and literacy, encourage listening skills, as well as encourage body awareness and coordination.

  • Increases confidence and improves concentration. Yoga will introduce your child to mindfulness and help to manage stress and tantrums. Learning about healthy bodies, as well as improve balance and coordination.
